We spend at least 1 week a year at Acadia, usually in the spring, just prior to the tourist on slot. Hiking the many trails, and even the carriage roads, keeping an eye on both the natural bauty of the land as well as the abundant wildlife. Acadia is so special in that you can easily hike 3 or 5 peaks in one day. Its Great Excercise, good fresh air (in the spring), all with breath taking beauty of the natural lanscape and abundant wild life.
