rainbowmaker Member Discussion

rainbowmaker says,
Should Sugarloaf have a frozen pumpkin roll or will that be to dangerous. On the river, every Christmas morning I have a frozen pumpkin roll into the Kennebec for benefit of the River Gods. This years pumpkin weighs 95 pounds and ready for the freezing process on the front porch. When launched, the floating pumpkin rides the tides up and down the river being visible for up to two weeks. If everyone skiing at Sugarloaf brought a frozen pumpkin to be rolled down the slopes it would create a real mess at baselodge. A solution to this potential problem will be to limit the pumpkins to only the biggest and the best. The pumpkins could be rolled in the terrain park and take advantage of the jumps. Frozen real solid, the squash could handle to rough treatment. Any thoughts on how to pull this off. Christmas morning should be the target date for the great pumpkin roll. Pumpkin lovers unite.
