What you do outdoors

Mountainbiking and cross-country skiing, mostly. A little hiking. These days: gardening -- but more of the hauling-rocks-and-planting-trees kind, not so much of the straw-hat-and-pink-gloves kind.

Your favorite place to go

Who has only one favorite? Mexico, Carribbean, Holmes Hollow in New York, Kingdom Trails in Vermont, but that's only once a year. Our favorite around here tends to be Bradbury. For skiing: Pineland.

What's on your rack?

Two fork-mounts, one for disc brakes (good thinkin', Craig). Skis go inside the car.

Your favorite piece of gear

My Trek Fuel, but I'm due for a new pair of classic waxless...

Is there a big adventure you're planning/dreaming?

Another bike trip out west if we can herd the cats. Maybe Oregon again (we DID miss that strech of the Mackenzie River Trail due to helecopter logging, after all), or Idaho. Or one of the Moab/Durango/Telluride hut-to-hut trips.
