Trips: Use this category to discuss the adventures and activities that you do and want to do. It's a pretty big classification that you can use for just about any outdoor activity. Also, you can use this category to round up people interested in a trip you are planning.
Gear: No matter what you do, you need clothes or equipment. Choose this category to discuss your favorite gear or ask questions about what you may need.
Skills/Tips: Do you have a great tip packing lighter? Or are you looking for advice on how to get started? Let us know what you know.
News: You may go outdoors to get away from it all. But often people make news while on an adventure.
Issues: Many of you care deeply about Maine's outdoors. But often you disagree with each other on how to preserve it. Here is the place for that civil debate.
Staying In: We can't spend all our time outdoors. We also like to read, watch TV or movies, eat out and socialize. This is the place for posts that don't quite match an outdoors topic.
Beyond Maine: Although Maine has such wonderfully diverse areas, sometimes we wander beyond its borders for an adventure.
