Build a Bridge with RBNT 8:15 AM

Build a bridge, clear some trails! In anticipation of the approaching winter cross country ski season, Hidden Valley Nature Center will host a work day completing a bridge across a very wet area, in an ecologically sound was so as not to disturb the flow. Another trail crew will work on clearing a new trail to North Head, a spectacular rock outcrop looking toward the western mountains. Please bring a bow saw or loppers, gloves, sturdy shoes, eye protection, lunch and water. Those proficient with chainsaws are invited to bring one along with appropriate protective gear. Wear orange – it’s hunting season! Come for part or all of the day. Be prepared for a 1.5 mile hike into both work sites. Meet at the gate on the Egypt Rd. at 8:15. Please give Gary a call at 586-6752 if you plan to come.
